This article covers steps for cross-platform data transport of non-CDB to other platform and adopt the transported non-CDB into a CDB as a PDB. If 12.1 non-CDB and CDB running on same platform, then easily plug-in the non-CDB into a CDB as a PDB so, there is no need for any conversion of platform on non-CDB.
