Differences of Oracle Database Editions

My  friend asked me what is the differences of  Oracle Database Editions?  I answered his question and I sent him a  information for this topic from Oracle Documentation Library :  Oracle® Database Licensing Information  11 g  Release 2 (11.2).   I want share with you a following table from documentation, too. Last meeting of the year 2012 - AZEROUG

At 01.12.2012 I attended AZEROUG (Azerbaijan Oracle User Group) - Last meeting of the year 2012 at Qafqaz University.  This meeting is started with  speech of  Kamran Agayev, Oracle ACE Director   (www.kamranagayev.com).  Kamran spoke about AZEROUG meetings of this year and thanked all  users. Kamran Agayev   Technical part of this meeting is started with  Ulfet Tanriverdiyev's (ulfet.blogspot.com) session. Ulfet's topic is Oracle Streems : general concepts and hand-on demo. He talked about streems very good , oracle replication technology and end of the session  he showed very  interesting video demo.  Ulfet Tanriverdiyev We planed  two  technical  session for this meeting. Oracleasm - Instantiating disk : failed

When I configure ASM disks with ASMLib on Oracle Linux 6.2 I got a error This error is depend  with  SELinux. I  forget set disabled SELinux configuration. You can disable SELinux on duration of installation Linux or after installation with change /etc/selinux/config It is very important for correct operations! And following video demo showing solve problem when oracleasm createdisk fails. You can found Oracle Support note :  oracleasm createdisk fails with selinux enabled [ID 1430947.1] Oracle recomended is disable SELinux before installation Oracle RAC! Regards Mahir M. Quluzade
